Hello, my name is Kristen Oom, and I am currently a Web Developer. I continuously look to push myself and be a better developer.

I graduated from Elgin Community College with an AAS in Computerized Graphic Design. After graduating, I went on to further my studies online with LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) for years before enrolling at Eleven Fifty Academy.

I worked as an in-house designer at a manufacturer before working in multicommunications industry where I picked up HTML and CSS. Before enrolling at Eleven Fifty Academy I dabbled with JavaScript in my role at RR Donnelley.

I am looking for a career that would allow me to combine my problem solving skills in a real world context to help people.
